Ivona is a psychologist at the Association “Hepatos Rijeka” and an associate in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities aimed at improving mental health and establishing healthy lifestyles, as well as establishing cooperation with institutions and organizations in related fields and activities. She graduated in psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. Although she is just beginning her work in the field of counseling, Ivona has already gained considerable experience in working with youth during her studies by conducting workshops on various topics within the University Counseling Center, actively participating in the work of the Student Association, and volunteering at various events and with different populations. At the Association “Hepatos Rijeka”, her work is primarily focused on individual counseling, as well as working with people with risky behavior, patients, and their social environment. Her office door is open to any person who feels that they need professional counseling and support. In addition, Ivona is also involved in the implementation and development of educational projects and programs aimed at improving social skills, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and stress resistance. She is very happy to work with the Association’s volunteers too. In her work, she wants to provide her clients with a sense of acceptance, warmth, and security, and in collaboration with them, achieve that each passing day brings them closer to their definition of life.
